When we arrive at the awareness that our life can be more fulfilling, joyful, creative and peaceful we are ready to make a choice. We can stretch our mind to the realization that we, indeed, could be living a more fruitful experience. Life is pushing us towards a greater expression at all times, yet we postpone, we drag, we sleepwalk. We wake up to clarity that we should make a change when unpleasant situations occur. If we have courage, it leads to Soul digging, analyzing the circumstances where we started feeling disempowered, our behavior patterns that don`t align to the overall evolution of our being and, ultimately, to the beginning of transformation. Once we become familiar with the laws of nature, the mind state of victimhood shifts to learning the true meaning behind the situations as well as becoming proactive about self evolution.
I repeat again and again that yoga saved my life but also it makes my life better every day I practice. I choose to not wait for the wake up calls and act upon my free will. With all the benefits that this eightfold path provides, the ripest fruit is one of the disciplined mind. There are layers of subconscious patterns that effect our creative thought process to which the physical existence is manifestation. There is a limit to how miserable a mind can become, when our ego doesn’t offer any solution but self-destruction. Yet there is no limit to how good we can feel, as we learn to merge our mind with the Universal intelligence that created all life itself in its image.
Through the practice of yoga, which is, for the most part, an inner practice, we acquire a precious gift of a disciplined mind. It gives one real freedom, a key to unconditional living. It gives one the power to change the life experience, no matter where we stand. It gives us health, true happiness and spontaneous joy. It knows no limitation as it allows to see the truth by removing the illusions of the race mind and false perception of the Self.
